Self-check of the skin is highly recommended, at least once a month. The attention should be given to the appearance of mole by simple “ABCDE” rules:
A : Assymmetry changes
B : Uneven borders changes
C : Color changes or appearance of more colors
D :Diameter changes above 5 mm
E : Evolution, Elevation, Enlargement changes

Other suspicious signs could be if mole become hard, lumpy, or scaly and if it itch, ooze, or bleed.
